Brazilian keratin in Pretoria
Smoother, shinier, easier to dry. A keratin treatment that calms frizz for months without flattening your natural movement — planned for your hair, not a one-size formula.

What it does
A smoother finish starts with the right plan.
A Brazilian keratin treatment coats each strand with keratin protein and seals it with heat. Frizz settles, curls loosen, blow-drying takes half the time. Your natural texture is softened, not removed — it isn't a chemical straightener.
Before we start, tell us about your texture, any colour or chemical services in the last six months, and the finish you're after: glass-smooth, or just calmer and easier. That conversation decides the formula and how long we leave it in.
Price list

The treatment
Know the details before you decide.
What happens at each stage, and what we'll ask you.
01
Before your visit
Arrive with clean hair if you can. Tell us about colour, bleach or relaxers in the last six months — it changes the formula we choose.
02
During your appointment
A clarifying wash, the keratin applied section by section, then a blow-dry and flat-iron to seal it. Allow two to three hours.
03
After your appointment
Keep hair dry and down for 72 hours — no clips, no washing. Then switch to a sulphate-free shampoo; we'll recommend one.
Questions
Keratin questions.
Will it make my hair completely straight?
Not by itself. Keratin smooths and loosens texture; waves become softer and frizz settles. If you want it glass-straight, say so at the consultation and we'll plan the formula and the ironing for that.
Can I have keratin if my hair is coloured?
Yes. We usually colour first and treat afterwards, in the same visit or a few days apart, so the keratin seals the colour in. Tell us when you book so we can set aside enough time.
How long does the result last?
Around three months for most hair, fading gradually rather than growing out with a line. Sulphate-free home care and fewer washes stretch it further.
What does it cost?
R2,000 for short hair, R2,500 for medium and R3,000 for long. We confirm the price with you at the chair before we begin.
